Aphasia Conversation of Wilmington,NC

Apahsia Conversation of Wilmington, NC is a peer support group that started up in 2081 for people with Aphasia.  The group meets every Monday from 1:00PM- 4:00PM at the First Baptist Activity Center ,1939 Independence  Blvd, Wilmington, NC  The group is supported by the New Hanover Regional Medical Center- Post Stroke Care Unit.  Our contact is Erika Yourkewicz.  We advertise in all available venues.   The activities include breakout groups to discuss a variety of  topics.  We have interactive guest speakers such as a music therapist and a yoga instructor.  We play various interactive group games.  The group includes all levels of aphasia.
