Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, University of Kansas

We are a University based speech and language clinic located in Lawrence, Kansas on the University of Kansas campus. We offer onsite services and telepractice serves within the state of Kansas at this time. Expansion to other states will be dependent on need. Assessment and intervention are provided by graduate student clinicians under the direction of Julie Gatts, a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience working with adults with aphasia and other acquired disorders. At our onsite location we have the Pardee Augmentative and Alternative Communication Lab. Using the resources with the lab we are able to fit and recommend augmentative and alternative systems (also referred to as speech generating devices) for individuals who have acquired disorders.
