Vanessa Alcala, M.S. CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified, bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and proud owner of Vital Therapies. She studied abroad at the University of São Paulo in Brazil focusing on swallowing therapy in adults as well and speech therapy after cochlear implant surgery in teenagers.
Vanessa attended The Aphasia Recovery Connection Cruise and was a research assistant at USF for the effects of bilingual external visual memory aids for individuals with dementia. She has provided skilled evaluation and speech therapy to adult and geriatric populations in skilled nursing and outpatient settings.
Vital Therapies is located in the greater Carrollwood area of Tampa, FL. We are a participating provider with Medicare and offer in person and online speech therapy sessions in English and Español.
