Amy Rodriguez, PhD, CCC-SLP

My name is Dr. Amy Rodriguez. I am a speech-language pathologist and rehabilitation scientist. I currently work at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in the Center for Visual and Neurocognitive Rehabilitation and Emory University. My research is focused on improving treatment outcomes for people with aphasia through development of new treatment approaches that include exercise and non-invasive brain stimulation. My team and I are also using neuroimaging to understand brain health after stroke and how individuals with aphasia respond to treatment. If you are interested in our aphasia research studies, please contact me. I would be delighted to speak with you.
