The mission of the Big Sky Aphasia Program (BSAP) at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana is to provide a center for aphasia rehabilitation, to foster a community for individuals living with aphasia in Montana, and to train student clinicians in the health professions. We are the only rehabilitation center in the state of Montana that focuses on living with aphasia. We are the only aphasia rehabilitation center with expertise in clinical aphasiology, thus providing a context for interprofessional clinical care, student training, and research.

The Big Sky Aphasia Program offers assessment, individual treatment, individual tele-health, free, drop-in aphasia groups and clubs, caregiver support groups and caregiver group counseling, and intensive comprehensive aphasia programs (ICAPs). All services are delivered by graduate student clinicians in the School of Speech, Language, Hearing, & Occupational Sciences under the direct supervision of state-licensed and nationally-certified speech-language pathologists with expertise in aphasia management.
