People with aphasia meet once a week as a group. The group is held at the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Individuals practice their conversation skills in a supportive environment. Group members determine the weekly conversation topics. For example, the group has talked about sports, national parks, pets, and food.  Some group members use the time to practice skills and strategies they learned in their individual therapy sessions. Graduate students are available to support individuals during the group session.
