The National Aphasia Association currently has 1,281 affiliates. While the vast majority are speech-language pathologists, anyone who offers services or advocates for people with aphasia can be added to our database. In fact, you may have found your speech clinic or support group through our affiliate directory.

 

But our directory contains so much more than speech-language pathologists. We asked our affiliates about their services with a survey in October. For the people who answered the survey, there were also

 

  • Acupuncturist
  • Aphasia support fitness class providers
  • Doctors
  • Independent living skills instructors
  • Psychologists
  • Support group leaders

 

And, yes, 74.1% of them were speech-language pathologists!
