The Aphasia Recovery Connection (ARC) is a nonprofit organization supporting people with aphasia and their families. Their main mission is to create connections between people affected by acquired aphasia from strokes or brain injuries and provide resources for optimizing recovery and living life with aphasia. ARC organizes in-person and virtual groups, coffee chats, educational programs, webinars,  and in-person social events that help people with aphasia practice their communication skills in a supportive environment. ARC also works to raise awareness about aphasia and advocates for better understanding of the condition in healthcare settings and the general public.
