A New Day With the NAA June Campaign:
June 2025’s National Aphasia Awareness Month is inspired by the power of connection, advocacy, and giving. With our refreshed look and renewed mission, we’re ushering in a new day with YOU as part of the National Aphasia Association. This month is our most important fundraising time of the year, and we’re inviting our community to join us in expanding awareness, resources, and research. Whether you donate in honor of someone with aphasia, host a peer-to-peer fundraiser, or support innovative research through our grants program, your generosity fuels progress. Help us rise together toward a brighter, more inclusive future for all impacted by aphasia.

June is National Aphasia Awareness Month!
Aphasia is an acquired communication disorder that affects a person’s ability to speak, understand, read, or write. However, it does not impact intelligence. It’s most commonly caused by stroke or brain injury, and can also result from neurodegenerative diseases.
More than 2 million Americans are living with aphasia, yet many people have never heard of it.
Let’s change that.
