Kim Irby, MS, CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals maximize their communication skills in a wide range of healthcare settings including inpatient, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and home health. She discovered working with individuals with aphasia while earning both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 

Throughout her career, Kim has held a variety of clinical and leadership roles, allowing her to combine her love for direct patient care with her interests in leadership, mentoring and program development. She has led teams, built programs and created supportive environments that help patients and professionals achieve their goals. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, compassion, and a commitment to improving the lives of those she serves.

 

Outside of her professional life, Kim enjoys daily walks and hiking in national parks with her family.
