What is the research about?

  • We want to know which types of cues make word retrieval easier.
  • Participants will practice those chosen words with different cues.
  • Participants will identify words that they want want to practice saying.
  • The study will happen over three sessions.
  • We are focusing on different types of phonological (or sound-based) cues.

  • Adults, 18 years of age or older
  • Individuals who experience word retrieval difficulties
  • Individuals with aphasia

Who is this study not for?

  • Individuals who cannot identify words that are difficult to retrieve
