What is the research about?
- Goal: Determine if Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation combined with Language Therapy is an effective treatment for aphasia when delivered soon after a stroke
- Participants will receive a screening/medical intake, MRI scan, language testing and 10 days of treatment
- Participants will receive up to $1200 in payment and travel compensation
- Rides to and from the lab are provided

- Stroke occurred less than 12 weeks ago
- Above age 18 and below age 90
- Left hemisphere stroke
Who is this study not for?
- Left Handed
- Not fluent in English
- Unable to receive an MRI
