NAA Speech Bubble Tour

Thank you!

You’re one of 30 participants helping us bring aphasia awareness into communities across the country in a fun, visible, and meaningful way. We’re so excited to have you involved.

Each morning in June we will post a photo of the NAA Speech Bubble in a different location, with hints about where the Speech Bubble is. Later in the day we will post a video revealing where the Speech Bubble is.

Your Role:

You will receive a National Aphasia Association “stress ball” that is shaped like a speech bubble.  Take the NAA Speech Bubble on a mini “tour stop” in your community and help us turn it into a daily awareness moment.  Take a photo of the speech bubble in the location (in portrait mode). Then, take a short video of yourself with the speech bubble (in portrait mode, like a selfie) revealing where you are!

Please complete the form below. Email answers@aphasia.org with any questions.

You’re helping people see that aphasia is everywhere—and that every community plays a role in understanding and support.

Capture the NAA Speech Bubble in a recognizable, interesting location or part-of-your-life place. This will be our “Where is it?” photo for the day. Try to avoid making the location too obvious—a little mystery is perfect! Examples: a landmark, downtown area, local favorite spot, aphasia center, university or therapy session or a volunteer/workplace, etc.

Record a Short Video (around 30 seconds) in portrait mode. Reveal where you are and say a few words. Simple is perfect! Example:“Hi from Austin, Texas! The NAA Speech Bubble is in Zilker Park!
