As part of our strategic commitment to growing public awareness, the National Aphasia Association supports community-based programs, events, or conferences that align with our mission. This may include limited financial sponsorship or in-kind support such as materials, awareness swag, or amplification through our channels.
We prioritize opportunities that serve people with aphasia and their care partners, particularly those hosted by nonprofit organizations within the United States. If you are planning an event and believe it aligns with NAA’s goals, reach out to learn more or submit a request through the online application.
The NAA places priority on giving to qualified 501(c)(3) non-profits who serve those with aphasia and/or their care partners. The program/event offered by the applicant must be based within the United States and must align with the mission of the NAA to promote public awareness and to provide support to families living with aphasia.
Approved Requests: The approved donation will be sent to the contact person for the hosting organization.
Declined Requests: The requesting organization will receive notification via e-mail indicating the request has been declined and the reason for the decision.
We encourage partners in the aphasia community to also consider other opportunities for the NAA to support your program/event, including requests to share the event on the NAA’s platforms, reference within the provider network, participation or inclusion at the event, etc.
