The Adler Aphasia Center is a community-based aphasia program that focuses on the long-term needs of people with aphasia and their families. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of people with aphasia, their families, and communities.
Adler provides a place for people with aphasia to connect to others with aphasia, through participation in a variety of stimulating group conversations and creative activities. We also offer opportunities to participate in wellness programs, technology programs, arts programs, advocacy effects, and more. Adler works towards enhancing the communication skills of our members and providing opportunities for social and peer support, while building members’ self-esteem and confidence.
Caregivers are also supported with virtual groups as well as monthly caregiver education seminars.
