Cindy Nichols is a speech-language pathologist with over 40 years of experience working with people with communication disorders.
As the owner of Midshore Speech Services, she helps adults affected by stroke, traumatic brain injury, and degenerative neurological diseases like Primary Progressive Aphasia and Parkinson’s Disease.
Cindy works with clients and their care partners to develop tools that will allow them to participate as fully as possible in chosen life activities.
Treatment focuses on developing an effective home program,training important communication partners in the best way to communicate, and use of strategies and tools as needed.
She offers individual and group services, including a PPA Resource Group for people affected by PPA and their care partners.
She offers in person and virtual sessions.
Cindy is part of the National Aphasia Association Taskforce on training SLP’s to help people with PPA.
