Mia is an ASHA certified and NJ licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who designs and provides excellent therapeutic services to clients of varying ages and disorders. She has a particularly strong background in working with patients who live with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and other neurological conditions. Mia is certified to provide LSVT LOUD for Parkinson’s and other related neurological conditions, and Ampcare Effective Swallowing Protocol (ESP™), a neuromuscular electrical stimulation designed to treat swallowing disorders and dysarthria. She has also received training in the areas of manual therapy and kinesiology taping. Mia is a National Aphasia Association Affiliate. She earned her Masters of Science degree in communication disorders from Stockton University in 2018. During her career, Mia has gained experience in working with patients across the lifespan in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient clinics, assisted living, sub-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care.
