What is the research about?

  • We are investigating brain stimulation to help reduce fatigue and improve language and cognitive recovery for people after a stroke
  • We are doing this because we want to see if this type of brain stimulation and language treatment can help people with aphasia and fatigue after a stroke
  • Participants will complete some testing and 10 sessions of speech-language treatment with brain stimulation (tDCS)

Where does this research study take place? Combination of online and in-person (Syracuse, NY or Ann Arbor, MI)

  • At least 18 years old
  • Have had a stroke
  • Have experienced speech/language difficulties following the stroke

Who is this study not for?

  • Younger than 18 years old
  • No stroke
