Description: This special research-focused edition of Ask the Expert spotlights several of the recipients of the 2024-2025 National Aphasia Association research grants. Our panel featured Dr. Amy Vogel-Eyny, Dr. Mara Steinberg Lowe, and Sophie Arheix-Parras, who share insights into their funded studies in aphasia rehabilitation, language processing, and stakeholder-centered therapy.

This session also introduces the latest updates to NAA’s research grant program, including new website sections on latest research and redesigned ways to search for/find a study and also for researchers to post their study.

Finally, we announced the 2025-2026 recipients of the NAA’s Grants for a total of $30,000 to help advance aphasia research.
