Summary: ParticiPics is a free, searchable database of pictographic images designed to facilitate life’s conversations. The pictographs are specially designed for communicating with people with aphasia and are the product of decades of research and experience with people in the aphasia and stroke communities. The pictographs can only be downloaded after logging in.
The Aphasia Institute also offers a variety of thoughtfully designed pictographic tools to support communication and practice at home or in therapy. Developed using the Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasiaâ„¢ (SCAâ„¢) approach, these resources are ideal for speech-language pathologists, care partners, and people living with aphasia.
