PPA Chats

Program: Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) Chat
Topic: People with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) and Primary Progressive Apraxia of Speech (PPAOS) and their care partners are invited to learn, share strategies, and connect with each other.
Advisors: Becky Khayum, Lorraine Podolsky, Christie Carroll Duhigg, Natalie Douglas, Cindy Nichols, and Kiiya Shibata
When: The second and fourth Friday of each month, 2:30-3:30 pm Eastern Time
More Information: PPA Chat is for people with PPA / PPAOS and their communication partners. We start as a group, sometimes with a short presentation. Then, we split into breakout rooms based on PPA type or symptoms, so you can learn and connect with others in a similar situation. There’s also a breakout room for communication partners. Communication partners are welcome to assist during the chat, like using supports (i.e., key words, help with words, etc.).
