The NAA will only post research studies that have been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at your institution. This form asks you to upload your stamped IRB approval letter.

If approved for posting, your research study will be posted to the NAA webpage with aphasia-friendly formatting and language. Because of this, we ask you to complete an aphasia-friendly research study template, which can be downloaded below, as part of this form. Please upload your completed aphasia-friendly posting below; this will appear on the NAA webpage.

If you are conducting a clinical trial, this must be registered on clinicaltrials.gov. NAA links to clinicaltrials.gov, so you DO NOT need to complete this form. Instead, please ensure the information about your research study on clinicaltrials.gov is current and accurate.

Research Study Information

The description should include what the study is about, why you are doing it, and the types of task(s) participants will be asked to complete. Aphasia-friendly language includes simplified syntax, use of frequent words, and short sentences.
