The National Aphasia Association proudly accepted nominations for the Dr. Martha Taylor Sarno Advocacy Award. This award honors an individual who has made a powerful impact in raising awareness and understanding of aphasia.
Eligibility:
- Must be an individual (not an organization) with aphasia or carepartner
- Significant impact in aphasia awareness or advocacy
- Willing to participate in the announcement
Selection Criteria:
- Impact – Visible difference in the community
- Authenticity – Honest, heartfelt advocacy
- Reach – Influence beyond immediate circles
- Relevance – Alignment with NAA’s mission and Dr. Sarno’s legacy
