What is the research about?
- We are studying how language and different types of attention are impacted after a brain injury (stroke)
- Findings from this study will help us develop a task to be used clinically to assess attention in people with aphasia
- Participants will be asked to make decisions about what they see and hear on a computer in person at our Indiana locations
Where does this research study take place?
Purdue University main campus (West Lafayette, Indiana), satellite campus locations and participant's home

- 18 years of age or older
- aphasia after stroke
Who is this study not for?
- Non English speakers
Will I be compensated for this study, or are there costs?
$20 per hour (cash). If participants travel greater than 50 miles one way, they will earn an extra $25 cash.
