I grew up in Nebraska (Go Huskers!) and later moved to Arizona, where I met my husband. After giving birth to my second child, I had a stroke, and later was diagnosed with aphasia and apraxia. Right before the COVID breakout, we moved to the East Coast and joined The Aphasia Project where I made so many wonderful aphasia friends. 

Interest in Project

I want to spread awareness of aphasia around the world so other people with aphasia can benefit from further research, and perhaps, find a cure.
