Warren C. Brown, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communicative Disorders at Jackson State University. He earned his PhD from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His research examines traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, and aphasia, with an emphasis on stroke-related and broader healthcare disparities and culturally and linguistically responsive clinical care. He serves as a facilitator for the Black Aphasia Group at the Aphasia Center of Acadiana and has published on topics related to brain injury, intersectionality, and patient-provider communication.
