Description: Communication access means people with communication disabilities have the same opportunities to take part in and fully benefit from quality services and programs as everyone else, using necessary communication supports. Effective communication is a basic human right. Making it accessible is especially important for people with aphasia. Learn about Communication Access and Social Determinants of Health, and strategies and resources to fully access health services and programs.

- SLP Continuing Education Credit: We offer one Professional Development Hour (1 PDH) for attendees of our monthly “Ask the Expert” webinar. SLPs who attend the entire webinar will be able to download a Certificate of Verification of Attendance at the end of the webinar to count toward one hour of your continuing education requirements. A certificate is not offered for those who only watch the recording.
