About the Creators:
Warren Brown, PhD, CCC-SLP is an assistant professor in the Department of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and the Director of the Neurorecovery Lab at Jackson State University. His research and teaching focuses on aphasia, neurorecovery, neurogenic communication disorders and culturally responsive approaches to supporting individuals and communities affected by acquired language challenges.
Brittany Myburgh, PhD, is an art historian who served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Art at Jackson State University during the development of this anthology. She has been appointed Lecturer in Art History and Museum and Cultural Heritage at the University of Auckland. Her research and public humanities work focus on art history, visual culture, digital humanities, cultural memory, and the preservation of underrepresented voices and lived experiences
