Brooks rehabilitation aphasia center is committed to providing support, education and training for anyone with aphasia, primary progressive aphasia and their families.  BRAC programs focus on helping connections and conversations with family, friends and the community. BRAC encompass the Life Participation Approach to aphasia.

We offer two specific programs, both a community (social communication group) and a six week Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program (ICAP).

The BRAC community aphasia program provides an opportunity to connect with others with aphasia through interactive and creative programs, groups and outings in a supportive community environment. This program encourages multi-modality communication techniques and increases confidence to help live successfully with aphasia and learn new ways to communicate.

Our six week intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program (ICAP) is an individualized, intensive therapy program  designed to help maximize communication potential, individual language skills (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension)  and improve life participation and socialization.

BRAC also offers mental health counseling, music therapy, free on line zoom conversation groups, family training and communication partner support groups.
