More Information: This inclusive, aphasia-friendly group discusses a wide range of topics, including sharing tips and some of the challenges faced living while Black and struck by an invisible, severely underknown disability called aphasia. We welcome all who acknowledge the existence of the unique challenges each quality poses and support the mission of creating an emotional refuge for Black people living with aphasia. The Black American Aphasia Conversation Group meets every other Monday. It is advised by Angie Cauthorn (NAA Board Member and co-founder of ARCH), Michael Obel-Omia, and Nikki Benson-Watlington (Outreach Coordinator, The Aphasia Center at Jefferson Moss-Magee)
