Genevieve Richardson, MS CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with 32 years in practice, the last 15 spent exclusively with people with aphasia and the families who love them.
Most families leave stroke rehab with a diagnosis and a discharge summary. They do not leave with a roadmap. Genevieve built her entire practice around that gap. She works with people after the system stops, after insurance ends, after the conveyor belt runs out, and when the question becomes not just can he get his words back, but can we get our life back.
Through LIFE Speech Pathology®, she works directly with people with aphasia to rebuild communication, identity, and participation. Through LIFE Beyond Aphasia, she supports the care partners alongside them, because she long ago learned that one person in the room is never the only one who needs help.
