Aphasia Studio is an online practice platform built for adults with aphasia. It offers evidence-based exercises — Semantic Feature Analysis (SFA), VNeST, structured cueing hierarchies, naming, categories, listening, and sentence building — on 1,500+ words and everyday topics, through an interface simple enough for a person with aphasia to use independently, without caregiver supervision. Users can also practice their own words and photos. It is designed as a supplement to professional speech therapy, extending practice between sessions and after discharge.

About the Creator:

Lyda Kongswangwongsa (Dona), MS, CCC-SLP, has been a speech-language pathologist since 2013, working exclusively with adults in medical settings, and founded California’s first Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program. She built Aphasia Studio to give people with aphasia access to the intensive, high-dose practice that research supports — free tier available, full access $14.99/month with the first week free.
