More Information: This inclusive, aphasia-friendly group addresses a wide range of topics, including sharing tips and some of the challenges faced living while Black and struck by an invisible, severely underknown disability called aphasia.  We welcome all who acknowledge the existence of the unique challenges each quality poses and support the mission of creating an emotional refuge for Black people living with aphasia. The Black American Aphasia Connection Group meets every other Monday. It is advised by Angie Cauthorn (NAA Board Member and co-founder of ARCH), Michael Obel-Omia, and Nikki Benson-Watlington.
