International PPA survey

Principal Investigator: Chris Hardy

Institution: University College London

Study ends by: 06/30/27

What is the research about?

  • We are studying primary progressive aphasia (PPA) and how it changes over time.
  • We want to learn which symptoms happen, how they change, and what is most important to people with PPA and their families.
  • We also want to see whether experiences of PPA are different in different languages and cultures.
  • Family members, friends, and bereaved caregivers will be asked to complete an online survey about their experiences of supporting someone with PPA.
  • The survey asks about symptoms, changes over time, helpful support and strategies, and the impact of PPA on daily life.
